Watched this movie with difficulty. It wasn't a drama but more of a science fiction horror. After 1 hour I had the feeling that I had to take a few antidepressant pills. The story is simple and sad, Al Core could have imagined it, the earth becomes unlivable due to a lack of leaf green. We use a time machine to look for a solution in the future. Nice company film for Greenpies or green links. I look for my solution in a glass of whiskey. 2 points

Nicely thought out scenario, but the film didn't grab me because it all goes very slowly.

During the credits of the film it is mentioned that no butterflies were injured. This is not only a reference to the butterfly in the final scene, but possibly also a reference to The Butterfly Effect. This is one of the many theories of time that the film refers to. The film has similarities with The Time Machine. In this film, a man travels through time to find a terrible future, which he somehow tries to solve. Towards the end, he does not return to the present, but remains in the future to save humanity. However, for a society that has the technology to send people 400 years ahead to a clean atmosphere, all they need to do is produce more power plants and send humanity there. asks for leave is played by actor Andy McPhee. In real life, he is the father of protagonist Kodi Smit-McPhee. Despite the fact that the film is set in Australia and everyone speaks with an Australian accent, the character Jude is the only one who speaks with an American accent.

The movie is completely illogical. Scientists are not able to keep trees alive in a laboratory, but they can then invent a time machine. The acting performances are mediocre, and the effect is anything but positive.

2.0 *
