"The true story of a born winner!"

Tom Sullivan is a blind student who wants to be normal. When he's not in class, he hangs out with his friend Will Sly, who doesn't treat him like a blind man. In fact, he does everything he can to challenge Tom. Tom falls in love with Heather Johnson, but when she breaks off their relationship, Tom feels abandoned and lonely and struggles with himself. Then he meets his future wife, Patti Steffen, and his life changes irreversibly.
