A truly beautiful ending that, as far as I'm concerned, sets the directors apart from the rest with their daring and vision. To be honest, I didn't immediately expect a film like this from someone like Scott Burns, I didn't find his previous two films very uplifting. Come True certainly had an advantage thanks to the fascinating subject.
Clearly borrowed from quite a few influences, but the end result can certainly stand on its own. Dream sequences drenched in Silent Hill aesthetic, a not very daring but wonderfully dreamy synth soundtrack and an ending scene that breaks with the tone of the film so hard that you just keep staring at the credits in silence for a while. The little dip around the middle part is therefore quickly forgotten.
