Watching BBC FIrst this afternoon.

Nice, atmospheric adventure film with a charming, wise-cracking lady in the leading role.

Film is more reminiscent of a TV series than a real feature film. This was further enhanced by the fact that they had split the film into two parts, including the opening credits and the opening credits in between.

Was a bit confused because for the past few weeks I had been watching a series with almost the same title, but set in the 60's, but that turned out to be "Miss Fisher's New Murder Mysteries".

I was not yet familiar with the original series, which was set in the 1920s.

The story was otherwise amusing and quite exciting here and there with a nice leading actress.

In any case, enough entertainment for a drizzly winter Sunday afternoon.

A seven, or 3.5 stars.
