Wade and Lisa have been a couple since high school. They travel to Australia to experience nature at its best. But their vacation gets off to a slow start when Lisa rejects Wade's in-flight marriage proposal. With their relationship strained, they head inland to Uluru. However, on remote unpaved roads their GPS no longer works. They get stuck and are ill-prepared.

If you want to see a strong thriller, you should skip this one. But the story itself is not bad, the actors do their best and the scenery of the Australian desert is beautifully depicted. After the stranding of the two, regrets and wishes come to the surface, as is often the case with humanity.
Usually it's too late then, also for this duo?
A true story and quite well conveyed.
Fair, because the emotions that the director tries to convey to the viewer(s) with images and music, do not succeed 100%. He could also have let his fantasy run wild, so truth mixed with Mike Green's own imagination. Still not a bad film as schumacher thought!

Watched it today, fairly entertaining film as you can expect from this kind of films.
A survival film this time in the Australian desert.
A girlfriend and boyfriend want to discover the nicest places in Australia and at the end they come up with the idea to visit a piece of desert, once out of the car the problems start and the film ends in survival or death.
I certainly enjoyed myself with this, but stupid people to just walk into the desert alone without food and water and not knowing where you are.
Furthermore there were some exciting moments and I also thought the ending was successful!
