Fred retreats to a secluded bungalow to focus on writing a horror story about a werewolf. By chance, he meets Fanny, a horror writer who already has a bestseller to her name. Hoping to inspire each other, the pair decide to spend the night in a scary storytelling contest, using whatever means they can to frighten the listener as much as possible.
