Superior danish police thriller about two reluctant cops who get stuck in a dangerous urban district, just as racial tensions are erupting across the country. Intense and very exciting, tightly directed and sublimely portrayed. Best of all are the two main characters, who both go through a subtle but very impressive development. Especially the role of Jacob Lohmann, as the unruly racist cop Mike Andersen, is unforgettable. Great action scenes too and a fitting sobering ending.

An intense experience thanks to excellent actors! Because of the recognizable European setting, this film hit me much harder than many films from the United States used to do.

A good film of solid Danish crime film making with a well-known and strong cast that creates a good plot. A small improbable event here and there, but that hardly detracted from the whole.
