Adaptation film with a number of strong underlying layers, but also a rather tensionless and meaningless elaboration by director John Hsu. In the field of both thriller and horror, Fanxiao achieves too limited, which means that there are few stimulating elements for the viewer. If you also add very annoying main characters and a poorly animated antagonist, the horror elaboration is even more mediocre. Fortunately, the film manages to get further than the average genre film in terms of content and the makers make a number of attempts to set up the story in an interesting way, but that is about it. A number of bonus points for the fine location design are still in order.
