Whitestar plot
During the holidays, Megan and her best friend Julia work with Eddy at the stable of the tough horse dealer Alex. Megan has always dreamed of becoming a successful dressage rider. Then Whitestar comes across Megan's path, a horse with whom she develops a special bond, but which remains an unmanageable horse for Alex. When he wants to get rid of him, Megan just barely saves him from destruction.

Okay, so I was just curious about this. I can also have Dekker quite well, a sweet girl who I don't think would hurt a fly. Although she is barely in the film, only in the final scene. That doesn't hurt the film, but it is the extremely poor acting of the others. Especially that Kees Boot, no idea what he thought he was doing, but you see this man constantly acting, it's laughably over the top and not for a moment believable. The rest of the cast is also very mediocre. The story itself doesn't have much to it, but whatever it was: nothing can be saved with such poor acting. 1.0*.

In the prologue of this film for horse lovers (and girls in particular), Megan van Klaver [Britt Dekker] prepares for an important competition as a rider of Whitestar. The road to this moment was not a bed of roses. As a teenager, Megan [Richelle Plantinga] worked at Alex Kozak's [Kees Boot] riding school and helped the vet [Victoria Koblenko] deal with complications during Whitestar's birth. Because Alex mistreats the foal, Whitestar (who also has Salto Potente) has a much better bond with Megan, who dreams of following in the footsteps of her father, an Olympic rider. Unpretentious drama is well written and played, but the time jumps are unconvincing (Dekker looks nothing like Plantinga) and Aattache struggles with the dressage competitions.
