I'm not into wrestling/martial arts, but I found this documentary interesting. I think show wrestling has something special, I think it is beautiful, clear and colorful and fun to follow the people who practice this sport, or who want to become a show wrestler. Nice length, not too long. It didn't get boring. I found the violence very painful to watch at times. I don't like violence. No downsides. A 7. 3.5*

The setting of this documentary is very reminiscent of Darren Aronosky's The Wrestler. Under the mentorship of the ever-masked Tengkwa and the sardonic (and sometimes downright mean) Emili Sitoci, a new crop of dreamers tries to make a good start in the world of professional wrestling at Pro Wrestling Holland. Yesterday I attended a PWH event for the first time and watched Ring Of Dreams in preparation.
Sympathetic little documentary about approachable boys (and girls) who, in addition to the everyday worries, pursue their dream as a professional wrestler.
