Measure for Measure plot
"Some rise by sin, some by virtue fall"
The young Muslim woman Jaiwara falls for the musician Claudio. Jaiwara's untrustworthy brother Farouk objects to their relationship because Claudio is not a Muslim. He blackmails Claudio by accusing him of a crime he didn't commit. Claudio is jailed, much to Jaiwara's chagrin. She wants to help Claudio and seeks help from Duke, a local crime boss.
