What a creative surprise! The many fine dialogues, and the central one, very nicely done. This is something a lot of movies lack these days, I loved it!

Superb, very nice movie. A sci-fi set in the 1950s, you just have to get on it. Beautiful combination of style, atmosphere, dialogues and music in a very quiet and simple story that nevertheless becomes an intriguing mystery. I also got associations with Wes Anderson (Moonrise Kingdom). An ode to storytelling. I am a fan.

What a cozy SF, set in the 50's. Beautiful in its simplicity with an appropriate atmosphere. The film has a nice flow that takes you right into the film. With dialogues that connect to the fascination for the future and the fear of the unknown. New technologies are introduced and are revolutionary for the time, so that everything seems possible. Not only in the future, but also to explain the present.

The film mainly revolves around the young Fay as a telephone operator. The film has a long shot with her at the reception, great shot! It never gets big or has the intention of seeking out a complicated plot. Just a SF movie about the '50s. With tension and room for fantasy. The power of low budget that radiates more creativity than many a blockbuster.
