"You can't outrun the past"
Henry was once a legendary hit man who enjoys the isolation of his lake cabin. One day, his peace is disturbed by the arrival of Melody, a young woman who turns out to be a survivor of a major snowmobile accident. He will then have to decide whether to risk his own life to save hers.

[iCold Blood Legacy][/i] is a film where the images and acting of Jean Reno are very valuable. The rest in terms of storyline and direction is top-shelf crap. Ultimately, it's a balance where you get a film that's worthwhile, but nothing more than that.

This Cold Blood Legacy is not a great film, but the presence of Jean Reno, who is convincing here again, gives the film some cachet, otherwise I probably wouldn't have watched it.
The story about a retired assassin who is haunted by his past is still quite interesting, as is the final twist, but the execution is both mediocre and messy.
In addition to Reno, Sarah Lind and Joe Anderson also perform quite well, but the rest of the cast is not exactly impressive. Something that also applies to the direction of Frédéric Petitjean.
The only thing that saves the film a bit, besides Jean Reno's performance, are the occasionally quite atmospheric images and in particular the desolate and snowy wooded area where a large part of Cold Blood Legacy takes place. For the rest, this film has movie has many features to quickly fade into oblivion.
