Flesh Out plot
Verida is a modern girl. She works in a beauty salon, is addicted to social media and often goes out with her friends. Yet she is engaged and will marry a man chosen by her family. Like many girls of her age, she is forced to gain a significant amount of weight in a tradition called "Gavage", as in Mauritania this is considered a sign of great beauty, charm, wealth and social status.
