When Jeff Tried to Save the World plot
Jeff's boss Sheila says her ex-husband-to-be Carl wants to sell Winky's bowling alley. Jeff feels compelled to take matters into his own hands. While sharing his plan with some colleagues on a need-to-know basis, he tries to keep his job as manager of Winky's World a secret from his relatives, who still think he's been working as a computer engineer since college. Partly due to the substandard efforts of his colleagues, Jeff slowly sees that his current lifestyle is coming to an end. As the lanes begin to look more and more like a maze, a mysterious stranger keeps the bowling balls rolling and there is even a glimmer of hope for Winky's.
