Celebration plot
Yves Saint Laurent was the last of the great Parisian couturiers. In 2002 he said goodbye with his last collection. Celebration is an immersion in an almost alien world. A portrait of the fashion icon during those last years, in the form of a panorama of observations behind the scenes, with a fragile, sometimes somewhat absent-looking Saint Laurent. He usually stays out of the picture himself, and his partner Pierre Bergé directs the diligently working seamstresses, the models, the photo sessions and whatnot on the shop floor.
