The noble gladiator Rezius (Richard Harrison) is freed by Emperor Rabirio and puts in command of an army. When Rezius discovers that the Emperor is a cruel and evil tyrant, he decides to join an army of rebels. Their goal is to overthrow the cruel ruler.
