This movie started out pretty good, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The pretentious beginning quickly falls through the basket and it quickly becomes an incoherent messy whole. The acting and camera work is of such a weak level that it certainly does not benefit. I think it could have been more. A little more attention would certainly have done the film good.

Oh how bad is this! The acting is not too good, this is possibly the worst part of Cage I've seen, and the story is downright ridiculous. You would almost think that is meant to be funny but I'm afraid this is not the case, in any case Cage has reached a new low point with this film.

Remarkable Cage.

As an actor, I quite like him, but especially in his films from 2018 and beyond. This movie also seemed to fall in the vein of CageCraze. It certainly was, but Between Worlds actually shows that you can't save every movie by having Cage act like crazy. Plus, it takes quite a while for Cage to seem comfortable.

If anyone has felt uncomfortable with this production, I can certainly understand. So it's all quite uncomfortable. First of all, it is difficult to link a genre to the film. It seems to start off as a kind of supernatural thriller, but after about half an hour it completely explodes and we get a kind of erotic drama film. The main concept is pushed back and the relationship between Cage and dead-woman-in-body-of-daughter is pushed forward. Strange choice, but even more strange is that this nonsense also had to go on for half an hour.

It all adds up to a cheesy finale with lots of weird premise. In any case, the impression Pulera seemed to have hoped for does not come true, it all leaves an extremely strange aftertaste. Cage is a nice actor, but sometimes he can be wary of what he gets into, because these kinds of films discredit his status. More visual power, tighter editing and especially the withholding of completely retarded concepts would have done this film more than good.
