Un Homme Est Mort plot
Brest, spring 1950. The workers demonstrate. The police shoot at the crowd. René Vautier, a young filmmaker, films the event and organizes projections of his documentary to the best of his ability to wake up the public. His film has since disappeared, but the story lives on in Étienne Davodeau's comic of the same name, and in this film, which is an adaptation of it.
