"The truth is very simple."
Jack is an American writer in his sixties who is not appreciated. He moves to Hel, a peninsula in northern Poland. Jack starts writing a script, but has no inspiration. He comes into contact with Kail, a local man who earns his living conducting lie detector tests. The problems start when dead tourists are found. Kail suspects Jack is the killer and begins an investigation.
