After Jennifer Conrad's (Penelope Mitchell) relationship ends due to her husband's rather loose hands, she decides to restart her life in an apartment in the big city. After her lonely neighbor commits suicide, Jennifer develops a rash of sorts. Every morning she suffers more and more from what appear to be bites. She thinks of some insect at first, but after contacting an exterminator who eventually labels her as a junkie, she decides to investigate on her own. What she then finds is something that only happens in nightmares.
