The Psycho Legacy plot
In 1960, Anthony Perkins terrified the world with his chilling portrayal of a murderous madman obsessed with his dead mother. Immediately, the horror genre was revived. Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho' had three more sequels and a remake, and inspired many popular horror films and thrillers. “The Psycho Legacy” follows the indelible film legacy left by the Psycho films and focuses on the screenplay, cast and direction of these films. The film is peppered with interviews with Anthony Perkins, Robert Loggia, Olivia Hussey, Henry Thomas, Hilton Green, Mick Garris and others. 'The Psycho Legacy' is the first documentary to bring together the 'Psycho' films from different decades.
