Oh Lucy! plot
Setsuko is stuck in her life as a middle-aged woman. However, an English course and a blonde wig transform her into a new person, Lucy. She soon falls in love with her teacher John. When he suddenly disappears, she and her sister go in search of him, leaving Tokyo for California. In an unfamiliar world of tattoo parlors and grubby motels, family ties and old gender roles are tested as Setsuko tries to keep Lucy's dream alive.
