A film that manages to offer just enough in all areas, but does not really excel anywhere else. Nice soundtrack, visually reasonable, acting also on a high level and despite all the intense events, the atmosphere is still relatively light. Didn't really feel like a heavy movie anywhere. The eventual final scene is appropriate, although they could have deleted the moralistic nagging that precedes it. Furthermore, a smooth and fresh thriller that easily manages to hold the attention, but it is not much more than that. Small 3*.

A film that just doesn't have it in it, despite all attempts to have it. It is the power from the director's chair that is missing and the elements that should make these kinds of films stand out that are simply not there.

Despite this, Eastwood's role is strong. And that is actually the only one, because the rest is not too convincing. The message of the film wants to be clear, but in the end I don't quite understand the goal. And that with such a serious subject in the leading role.

The directing is also too tame. You will think that a woman in the director's chair can add some extra spice to this genre, but this does not happen. It's very tame, too tame. The film doesn't really want to find its footing anywhere in such a shocking subject and that's a shame.

Soundtrack and camera use are pretty rubbish, and the poster promised a much more arty movie, but this movie is pretty normal in that area. And while there is still art almost in the spotlight. Nevertheless, there are nice locations with a few good camera angles.

Film is never very boring, and that has to do with the fact that Eastwood's role always remains sufficiently unpredictable. Although her switch in character may be a bit random, but you don't exactly expect that from these kinds of films.

Some scenes are quite brutal, but those are not the murders or revenge attacks. I'm talking about the realistically portrayed rape scenes. Those kinds of moments do know how to set the tone, despite the tone never really seeming to be used. Too bad, because this could have been good.

But in the end it is entertaining, the drama sometimes succeeds and the horror / thriller genre had the right direction. It should have been finished alone, and director Leite doesn't really seem to be able to do that.

Mediocre movie and sorry without the father I don't think she would get many leading roles, she is definitely not a great beauty and she is certainly not a super actress. Francesca's husband also plays along, of course, knows us like everywhere else. It's not what you can do, but who you know. Nothing new and absolutely nothing surprising to me. Also at imbd they are rightly not wild about it, quickly forget this...
