Sabina K. plot
Sabina K. and Sasa meet during the war in Bosnia, fall in love and have wedding plans. However, there is one problem: Sabina is a Muslim and Sasa is a Catholic. Both their families are strongly opposed to their marriage. Only in Ankica, an elderly woman and mother of their friend who died in the war, do they find an ally. Ankica considers them her own children and invites them to her home on the island of Korcula to get married there in peace. When spring arrives, Sabina travels to Korcula, where she is reunited with Ankica. Together they await the arrival of Sasa from Zagreb. The days go by but Sasa doesn't show up...
