Defying the Nazis: The Sharps' War plot
Reverend Waitstill Sharp and his wife Martha risk everything to save thousands of people fleeing the Nazis. They have voluntarily devoted themselves to this dangerous mission. The Sharps leave their two young children in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and travel to Czechoslovakia to help refugees as war breaks out in Europe. While abroad, they fight political and social legislation and break the laws in order to obtain exit visas for people at risk.
