Kapitanskaya Dochka plot

Pyotr Grinyov is 17 when he was sent into military service by his father. He falls under the command of Ivan Mironov, captain of the Belogorsky fortress in Orenburg. While dining with the Mironov family, Pyotr falls in love with the captain's daughter, Masha. His friend Shrabin, rejected by Masha, insults Masha and Pyotr challenges Shrabin to a duel.
