Just like the deterioration of a mother and a woman.

A goosebumps moment when the youngest child (now in his fifties) changes his mother's diaper.

The mother's eyes... the realization? Phew...

Especially the mother, played sublimely.

A little gem that isn't particularly special at the beginning, featuring the necessary flashbacks to the mother's younger years. It seems cliché for a long time, but gradually you do feel the powerlessness of a mother you lose while she is still alive. And the inevitable farewell you hope you never have to face. The film's strength lies primarily in Viviane de Muynck. It has become a moving film with a relatable theme.

I started watching this film without any prior knowledge or trailers because it was being broadcast on TV.

And just like the title, I am truly speechless.

It is a drama of the heaviest kind I have ever seen. Absolutely not a film you feel good about afterwards.

I simply feel bad after watching the film. So gripping and emotional. I haven't experienced the situations in the film myself, but I still couldn't hold back the tears. The disarming nature of the relationship between father and son speaks volumes. And the initially cynical relationship between the son and his mother, followed by the care, is simply gripping.

Outstanding performances by Stany Crets and Viviane de Muynck. Even Hollywood rarely reaches this level. And hats off to Viviane for portraying her decline in this story so vividly. Only possible thanks to top actors.

One of the few films that get a 5* from me…
