Amityville Exorcism plot

A family unwittingly awakens the evil spirit of a dead killer. The killer killed his own family years ago and takes possession of the body of the family's daughter. The family enlists the help of a priest linked to the murders. It is now up to him to save the daughter and exorcise the demon.

A director like Mark Polonia naturally guarantees a good dose of self-confident entertainment. Not. Amityville Exorcism is the second film addition to the series in question and is presented at least as soullessly. The glitchy sound editing specifically is a big question mark, as it only achieves an annoying effect. However, Polonia seemed to have intended it as a kind of demonic communication transmitter, but the threats in this film then show up in toy clothing and can therefore not be taken seriously in any way. The plot doesn't progress at all, the actors don't do much and the horror effect hurts both the ears and the eyes. To think that a director like Polonia has dozens of films to his name and then comes up with a film like this is absurd. A playing time of only 77 minutes was rarely such a long session.
