Beach Rats plot

Frankie, an aimless teenager from the suburbs of Brooklyn, is having a miserable summer. His father is dying and his mother wants him to find a girlfriend. He escapes the gloom in his life by messing with his bad friends and flirting with older men online. As the chatting and webcamming intensifies, he begins to meet men on a nearby beach. At the same time, he begins a cautious relationship with a young woman.
