Thought, when it started, ooh could be fun, but as the film progressed, rather boringness prevailed and ended lamely.

Half points for half a story. It seems as if the creators did not get any further than the idea itself. There is no further elaboration once past the halfway point. Too bad, because the idea was quite good.

A beautiful, original script that could have been turned into a really good film. But the latter did not work out. And that is mainly due to the incredibly bad acting performances. This is seriously worse than the average Hallmark Christmas film or American soap. You can tell from everything that the texts have been learned by heart. They are almost read out from an auto cue. There is no emotion involved. As a viewer, you remain at a distance and it makes the film unbelievable. The non-verbal acting performances are also pitifully bad. Add to that the fact that the script (full of potential) is rushed in a film of barely 1.5 hours (where you could better take 2 hours for it) and you have a recipe for disappointment. And that is what this film leaves behind: a feeling of disappointment. But what a beautiful film this could have been. Too bad. Now 2 stars for the potential it had. Not recommended, unless you know that you do not mind bad acting performances and like the genre.
