Loaded Weapon part 1, a 2nd part never came. 
A film in the style of Hot Shots and Airplane, easy to watch with plenty of fun moments.
For me personally a bit less than the above films, it's all just a bit bland and a bit more obvious. Some jokes seem to have been taken directly from Naked Gun.
Quite a nice snack!

I still have a soft spot for these kinds of movies. Chances are the level of a Naked Gun or Airplane! with these kinds of films is pretty nil, but they still have something sympathetic. Also had to chuckle every now and then with Loaded Weapon 1. With Emilio Estevez, the film has a nice dry ass lead and it's funny to see Samuel L. Jackson in such a role. His facial expressions in the moments when he gets a flashback or runs after the assistant are hilarious. Isn't it a different Samuel L. Jackson than the one we mainly got to see afterwards. The number of really funny jokes can be counted on one hand, but there are enough funny finds to be found for - at least - a big smile.

Still highly entertaining. For the lovers of Scary Movie, Airplane, Hot Shots, Naked Gun etc.
Loaded Weapon 1 spoofs the buddy cop subgenre, especially Lethal Weapon. In terms of the whole vibe, this is imitated quite recognizable. Also in terms of soundtrack, for example with that constant saxophone.
Besides Estevez and Samuel L Jackson (especially the latter is doing great again), a handful of big names pass by in cameos. The level of the jokes is quite hit and miss. Sometimes it gets a bit too bland, but in general there is enough to laugh about.
In terms of humor I would come to 3* but add a half because that typical late 80's / early 90's buddy cop atmosphere is wonderfully imitated.
