Ashug-Karibi plot
Poor Ashik Kerib is in love with the beautiful daughter of a rich merchant. They want to get married, but the father demands a dowry. The daughter promises to wait for him and Ashik embarks on a nomadic life for 1000 and 1 night as a minstrel (Turkish and Azerbaijani folk songs) to earn the dowry. On his journey he meets the strangest characters.
