San Andreas Quake plot

When a discredited seismologist warns of an impending 12.7 on the Richter scale earthquake in Los Angeles, no one takes her seriously. She now desperately tries to get her family and friends to safety before disaster strikes. And the odds are real: The same San Andreas fault line triggered the great 1906 San Francisco earthquake, which killed 3,000 people and destroyed 80% of the city.

What a bad movie! Luckily watched from the couch.. Accidentally clicked on the wrong Andreas movie! Dialogues sometimes made no sense.. Special effects ditto. Too bad hope San Andreas is better than this movie..

Not bad (for an Asylum). A disaster movie like many others and like many others they've made themselves. Dust off the script, link a well-known new movie to it and you're good to go. It looks like it will continue to be successful, because against better judgment, people are happily eating again. Hippopotamus is also such a typical B-addition. Nicely misplaced and hideously ugly, but it sticks. And that's what it's all about in the end. Bite-sized, budget-free nonsense.

Bad and not very realistic movie. All of LA is wiped off the map and it's about a few people who miraculously manage to stay up laughing. We don't see much of the rest of LA.

The special effects are also outdated. Nice film for a fifties film.

And I agree with the previous writers, without Hippopotamus the movie would have gotten half a star.
