The poster for this film and its title caught my attention, so I gave it a try. I was mostly disappointed. I expected more horror, but the amount of gore and/or suspense was minimal. I didn't particularly enjoy the humor in most cases. The monster, too, is disappointing, both in terms of looks and voice, and is laughably bad. The head being bowled with was something I expected, and I thought it was one of the better scenes.

A tasty slam dunk from pulp master David DeCoteau with one of the best movie titles of all time. A film from the '80s, back when Charles Band's Full Moon was still putting some time and effort into its productions and David DeCoteau—the man from Creepozoids—was still making some good shit. And this film exudes the '80s in everything, from the music to the hairstyles. Beautifully bad isn't ugly.

We see a bunch of nerds—including Andres Jones from Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master—wearing large glasses and white athletic socks. They interact with a group of women, who effortlessly strip naked. Next, they arrive at a bowling alley, where we meet George "Buck" Flower (what a hero he remains) as a janitor and scream queen Linnea Quigley (charming, but she can't act). And finally, we meet The Imp, a ridiculous hand puppet with a hilariously inappropriate voice. The voice in the trailer is different, by the way, but I actually prefer this idiotic voice of Dukey Flyswatter. There's something charming about a bad hand puppet with its silly one-liners and a bunch of clueless characters running and screaming through a deserted, dark mall. It's up to you to appreciate it, but for me, Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama remains very enjoyable entertainment. One of the better Full Moon films.

3.5 stars.

A weak film with a lot of underpants humor and not enough sleaze or gore. Very entertaining, but not very impressive. An extra half point for the great theme song.
