"There is no glory in battle!"
Malta, the end of the 14th century. After a bloody battle, Tristan de Léon travels home with four of his soldiers. Tired and hungry, they knock on the door of Lord William's fortress, where they ask for shelter for the night. Tristan and his men are admitted. Within the walls of the castle, Tristan becomes enchanted by a mysterious, beautiful woman. Why is she so attracted to him? What should have been a one night stay turns into a web of intrigue, forcing Tristan to pick up his sword again. A bloodbath is inevitable…

Amateur production with a very weak plot. The acting, the camera work and the dialogues are abominable.
The sound of the actors is poorly dubbed. The voices sound like dubbing. Very irritating.
The action scenes are not exciting. The action looks staged and is laughably slow. Bad choreography.
Amateurism at its best.

Watched this film purely to check another country off my list, despite the extremely low score. By the way, that score is correct. This thing almost looked like an amateur movie. Now I don't necessarily expect a big blockbuster from Malta, but it doesn't have to be that bad. Glorified school drama where people walk around dressed up. Bad acting, visually cheap, mediocre plot and direction does nothing special. 0.5*.
