Heaven Knows What plot
Welcome to the restless world of Harley, heroin junkie in contemporary New York. Entangled in the dark romance of her destructive relationship with Ilya, she seeks refuge with fellow addict Mike. Directors Josh and Benny Safdie create tableaux vivants about hunger and heroin whirls, which let you sway into the daily rhythm of the junkies tenderly interfering with each other's well-being, then mercilessly selfish, bogged down in irritated, drugged nun conversations.
