Perth and Tan are not only best friends at school, but also each other's competitors in swimming. Despite frantic efforts, Perth can't match Tan's talent. Tan has a girlfriend, Ice, who also has a crush on Perth. Perth and Ice meet secretly in the pool and Ice discovers she is pregnant and decides to end her life.
