Meñique (Tom Little) is a small farmer who wants to lift his family out of poverty. An insect infestation has destroyed the entire crop. He finds a magic mirror that shows him an image of a beautiful princess, whom he falls in love with instantly. He follows his brothers Pablo and Pedro to the city in search of fortune.
