The observation of this horrible aspect of warfare seems to me to be the most special thing about this film and that a performer, who still clearly sees the human dramatic effect of his part, is confused with all kinds of reservations and traumas and this also leads to family problems seems to me to understand.

An interesting theme that is well worked out but does not come across as grandiose. Perhaps a bit too many nearly identical images. Not nearly to the level of "Eye in the Sky"

It's not up to Etan Hawke and especially Bruce Greenwood. Both interpret very well.

Tight and captivating film that perhaps doesn't tell a very spectacular story but I found the way in which it is very strong. Good kill gives you a somewhat empty and distant feeling and because of that the film hits exactly its target, in my opinion.

The accompanying images, beautiful camera work with both very beautiful and cold shots only give more substance to this and the lack of real action was also a plus in that regard. That resulted in a field of tension that became more and more with the passing of time worked to a climax.

In that regard, I also thought the role of Ethan Hawke was very strong, although he was also very well supported by an equally impressive Bruce Greenwood.

Furthermore, a good direction by Andrew Nicol and therefore a film where in my view there is nothing wrong at all.

Very good drama.

I'm sure it's going to be shocking in the US, but I actually thought this movie was neatly coloring within the lines. It's never exciting, nowhere really surprising. In fact, it's pretty boring because there's a lot of repetition. laser … weapons hot… 10 seconds… boom . That may be on purpose, but it doesn't make it an interesting movie in this way.
But above all, it is a flat affair. Wife and children leave. Little attention is paid to this. Five minutes later, a colleague makes it clear to the main character that he can continue with her. Looks like he will take advantage of that. But then his marriage and children mean so little to him? That is possible, but hardly paying attention to it in the film makes it very flat.
A small pass due to the acting… and January Jones.
