For the coming months, cameras will capture the daily lives of mother Deborah Logan and her daughter Sarah. But as the days go on, strange things begin to happen around Deborah that are inconsistent with the Alzheimer's findings. It becomes clear that there is something else in control of Deborah's life.

No, this wasn't it. Not a stylish movie. The story in itself could well be the basis for a well-run horror film, but it is mainly the wrong choice to use the method of that so-called documentary-like style again (including the accompanying jerky, close-to-the-skin camera). , which has become disastrous for the film. In the meantime a trite, overused means to be original, which is more counterproductive for the die hard horror fan these days.

Too bad for the elderly Larson. She has the part of her life, and is excellently cast, but the elaboration of the story is so grim that it remains somewhat underexposed, and the film as a whole will eventually be tucked away in the twelve in a dozen division.

The first 40 minutes are pretty cool, but after that it's really ridiculous..

Mme.

started really strong. Reality shows found footage horror I did enjoy. Just like with Grave Encounters, who ridiculed the reality show. I only found that one more exciting, because it quickly became less realistic here.

Larson does indeed carry the film, and the rest follow a bit behind. Larson also has a really scary look. The film just doesn't want to be really exciting. Some scares are effective, but not terribly exciting.

I also had the feeling that the film just kept repeating all the time, old woman gets an attack, stops for a while, another attack, stops for a while. Maarja, better in its genre, but not a great one.
