During the 1970s, Rev. Oliver O'Grady moved from one North Carolina parish to another. Over the years, he quickly gained the trust and respect of all churchgoers. But these people don't know that O'Grady was a dangerous pedophile for some 30 years in the past. Despite the fact that his church superiors were aware of this, they still let him work as a priest. In this way they give him free rein to continue his activities and to abuse countless children. Filmmaker Amy Berg requests an in-depth interview with O'Grady, in this way she wants to confront him with the tragic stories of his victims. Berg wants to expose the corruption of the Catholic Church. At the same time, she wants to show that the man they have cherished and protected for years actually has a sickly personality.
