About Cynthia Souza
Cynthia Oliveira Souza is a 2nd generation Brazilian-American born in Framingham, Massachusetts. Her parents Gilvan and Silvia Souza migrated from Belo Horizonte, Brazil at very young ages in hopes to raise a family in a safer environment. From a young age, Cynthia was encouraged by her parents to pursue her creative endeavors. Often they struggled financially but Cynthia's parents would always surprise her with gifts that would benefit her dreams of working in film such as cameras gears, software lessons, and art materials. Outside of modeling and acting, Cynthia enjoys crocheting, reading, writing, listening to and playing music, animating, painting, editing, and researching. Cynthia graduated from Roger Williams University with a BA in Visual Arts and a minor in both Film Studies and Theatre. Since graduation, she has focused her efforts on working behind the camera as crew in order to learn more about the filmmaking process.
