Wagon Train follows the life events of a number of pioneer families who travel from the East to the West to try their luck there shortly after the American Civil War has come to an end. For some families their journey ended in a happy story, but for some others it didn't turn out so well. However, everyone experiences the necessary things and it is never boring on the road.
