The Dirty Black Bag plot

Red Bill is looking for revenge, on the hunt for a man who killed someone close to him. He arrives in a deserted town called Greenvale and immediately gets into a fight with the corrupt local sheriff, who has stolen federal money and is willing to kill as many people as possible to cover it up. Meanwhile, local land lord Mr. Thompson to starve Steve the honest farmer so he can finally dig for gold on his land. Steve has a haunted romance with local Mrs. Eve, who dreams of saving the near-dead city with fair prices for water.
