An occasionally intense story about a "peculiar" family with various surprises. A touch of mystery could be added to the thriller genre. One of the main characters takes center stage in each episode. It takes one or two episodes before the whole thing becomes truly interesting. Unfortunately, there is a bit too much jumping between the present and the past. The final episode is pretty much a summary of the preceding parts, with the addition of the mysterious background to the events. All of this is brought to life by an excellent cast.
