In Inside the Actors Studio, James Lipton interviews the world's most talented performers, ranging from actors, directors, musicians and comedians. The audience mainly consists of students, who are given the opportunity to ask questions to the guest during the interviews. The program began as a seminar for Actors Studio Drama School students.
