Outback Farm plot
Danyelle and Anthony Haigh give up their nomadic life of water drilling for cattle ranches to provide a more settled life for their two sons, Heath and Theo. They sell everything and move 3,000 kilometers from their home in Queensland to a remote, ramshackle, 5,000-hectare farm in the middle of Australia. Beyond that there is rugged, desert-like land, where temperatures rise above 40 degrees and forest fires often rage. Danyelle, a city girl, and Anthony, a country boy, have never run a farm before and now they want to grow hay - in the desert.
