Hier Zijn de Van Rossems plot

In this series, historian Maarten van Rossem, together with his sister Sis and his brother Vincent, explore a city in the Netherlands or its immediate vicinity every week. The three Van Rossems show each other places or objects that the others do not yet know (so well) and tell each other the stories that go with it. Maarten does this from his specialty, history, Sis as an art historian and Vincent is an expert in the field of architecture. The Van Rossems are all three excellent storytellers. In addition, they are known for their perspective and dry humor. The three do not always agree.

And also saw the closing Utrecht, which the trio initially did not want to visit (because home city - now or earlier). Nothing new under the sun in terms of formula, but still one of the finer programs of the NPO nowadays, where entertainment and information go hand in hand.

I don't always agree with them (those lions weren't that stupid at all!) and some facts were already known to me, but that shouldn't spoil the fun. I hope that they soon, while they still can and they don't have to be pushed along or something (I don't think they like that themselves), will do another season or three or four. There are probably still some interesting cities to be found - otherwise they will come up with a different format. The van Rossems must stay on the tube!
