Chateau Meiland plot

In “Chateau Meiland” we follow the Meiland family, consisting of father Martien, mother Erica, daughter Maxime, granddaughter Claire and house friend Caroline. Together they bought a chateau in the French village of Beynac and are going to convert it into a bed & breakfast. The family is closely followed during the renovation and everything surrounding it. Montana, the other daughter of the Meiland family, did not move to France, but regularly comes over to assist the family. In addition to the renovation, the family is also followed when they test outings in the area to see what fun activities are for future guests.

Het is allemaal niet echt hoogwaardig, maar toch heb ik deze serie altijd met plezier gekeken. Toch moet ik toegeven dat ik er nu wel klaar mee ben. De seizoenen duren vrij lang en aan de preview aan het einde te zien komt het vierde seizoen er ook snel aan. Buiten de corona-uitbraak op het chateau gebeurde er eigenlijk weinig nieuwe dingen.

It's not all that high-quality, but I've always enjoyed watching this series. Still, I have to admit that I'm done with it now. The seasons are quite long and judging by the preview at the end, the fourth season is also coming soon. Apart from the corona outbreak at the chateau, few new things actually happened.
